It is an important mission of the NHJC to form partnerships within the community. As such, for 2011 the NHJC affiliate charity is PULSE.

Pulse

PULSE is a group of young people committed to boosting their social lives in the name of medical research.

The objective of PULSE is to:

• Raise funds for early career researchers
• HMRI, a charitable fundraising organisation, by hosting affordable and innovative events for young people.
• Promote emerging young talent.
• Raise awareness of the work of the Hunter's young medical researchers and promote their amazing achievements.

PULSE raises funds for early career researchers by hosting affordable and innovative events for the young and the young at heart!

From our events in 2010 we were able to donate $500 to Pulse, and hope to contribute even greater in 2011.
