Hunter Business Chamber is the independent representative organisation for Australia’s largest regional business community. The Business Chamber is an advisor, a forum, a source of information and a point of access for its members.

The Chamber provides to its 1100 members a comprehensive range of services including lobbying, advocacy, networking and advice including workplace relations, business advice and training.

The Chamber represents NSW Business Chamber in the Hunter and members therefore can access all the resources of this unique organisation.

Members of the Chamber drive one of the powerhouse economies in Australia and they include some of the most innovative businesses in the nation. They have helped restructure an economy once dependent on just coal and steel into a diverse framework that encourages investment and employment generation.

The Business Chamber support helps create business prosperity and community through a policy and administrative structure that is directed by members through an elected Board of Directors and specialist committees made up of members.

PULSE is a group of young people committed to boosting their social lives in the name of medical research.

The objective of PULSE is to:

• Raise funds for early career researchers

• HMRI, a charitable fundraising organisation, by hosting affordable and innovative events for young people.

• Promote emerging young talent.

• Raise awareness of the work of the Hunter's young medical researchers and promote their amazing achievements.

Westpac Rescue Helicopter

The Newcastle & Hunter Junior Business Chamber, through the Charitable foundation have recently formed a partnership with the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. This vital, community owned and operated service provides aero-medical search and rescue operations to those in emergency situations. The Service undertakes over 1200 missions per year and through continued community funding, corporate and volunteer networks, no-one in our community has ever paid for the Service for over 30 years.
